$10 is a hell of a deal. I recently found my grandfather's old Canon AL-1 (similar to the AE-1) and I've had tons of fun playing with it. I've been a very comfortable digital shooter for years, but this is the first time I've shot film - I even picked up a nearly complete darkroom setup of Craigslist for less than $50! :)

Despite my initial reservations upon hearing they were going to make this into a film (I'm one of those rare fools who actually was into the original series, have all the issues) the damned previews have done won me over gosh darnnit. Guess I'll be checking this out tomorrow too!
