Oh, I almost forgot... I was gonna show you how to use bittorrent to get lotsa good movies and other goodies. If you have any questions about this crap, feel free to hit me up whenever.

- Download this file and save it to the desktop or whatever. Run the exe and install the software... it should be a pretty standard windows installation (just hit the next button until its done, yadda yadda).
- Once that's installed, you have to go out and download some torrents. The actual torrent file is really small and will download quickly, but you have to use the above program to actually download the movies via torrent. To get the torrents, you just go to one of many torrent sites on the web. The two that I usually go to are suprnova and isohunt.
- When you find something you wanna download, right click on the link, then hit "save target as". Save the .torrent file to your desktop or whatever, then open it up in that program which you downloaded (called bit tornado or something). You need to make sure you have lots of hard drive space for this, as each of the files are gonna be fuckin' huge. Also, the downloads will take a longass time to run (a day or so is par for the course).

Where I stood in the thread was I thought the thread would have been better served on a broader subject: ie is it okay to have groups based on any illegal activity. That seemed more interesting (and less personal versus the H users.)

Ultimately, though, I'm very aware that SG proper (the owners) have the right to include or exclude any groups they want... it isn't a democracy or freedom of speech issue with a private website.

Me, I think that any group that supports anything has the potential to enable them in that activity. And being an anti-drug guy in general, I would be leering of any group along those lines.

But, as it's not my website and I'm in no position (nor do I have any desire), to try and get pissy with any specific group (yours included).

In general, I'm of the opinion that if SG proper is okay with something a member isn't, then starting a thread is okay... but really, after that, the only full recourse that member has is to quit; and I'm okay with that system.

And, honestly, I felt a lot better about it once you came in and explained what your intentions were with it.
