Hey, and hello again! Hope you're enjoyin' your breather and apparently extended break from all of this crazy business online. I just got back from this patrol and wanted to say hi and see how things have been goin'. Pity's been shut back up into the deep recess from which it emerges again, and I can just say that things like this make us appreciate the things we have/had even more. Anyways... hopefully's all good. Things are definately better over here thanks to land under my feet and a sun over my head again. My opinion on firearms differs slightly from Dereks, and we've had a few arguements about it. I was raised in a home where firearms are pretty much cherished. I was taught from day one, that safety is of the utmost importance when it comes to guns, and I was taught the proper way to handle them, and my grandfather kept them all locked away in a giant steel "game-box" with a 50 pound lid, so i could never get into it anyway. So For the longest time I was convinced that guns were fine, it was just the idiots that use them to harm others, and the people who don't take the proper precautions, who are to blame. But after seeing bowling for columbine, I'm not sure how I feel. I do feel that there needs to be much tighter restrictions on guns, and how easy it is to get guns. But it's hard for me to say that guns should be outlawed, given that I KNOW there are responsible gun owners out there. *shrug* I'll never have one of my own, I know that for sure.

You should just put the chicken in a blender and liquify it.... drop a glass or two of water in there, and you could probably get it through a straw!

And meh, I don't know. A gun's just a gun... it's more the people that get really excited about that type of thing that scared me.

A few years ago the gun club at our school was having a firearm auction... I almost got a glock for about 2-300$, until I realized that not only did I not have that type of cash, but the potential to *ahem* misuse such a perchase would probably be inevitable at some point in time. =/

That is true about his honesty, ash...thanks for pointing that out to me. It's easy to overlook good things when you're too busy being skeptical, yanno? He is a nice guy, and all that. But, on the flip, he hasn't called me one time since our date. In fact, I left him a message letting him know I got here to PA alright, havent heard back. So, in my ever immortal favorite saying, we'll see.

You had the picture that said drugs kill. Keith Richards is the biggest exception to that rule. Sure, he may be a zombie, but still an exception to the picture. Hell, is probably the only guy who can snort an evelope full anthrax and not suffer from it.

It is somewhat like GTA as you are in a city and you can freely roam your areas, but you can't do anything to the citizens on the street. You can only beat up gang members, super villains, or other bad guys. And since it is an online game, it never ends. They just will keep adding new content every now and then. Here is hoping they bring back the alien invasion they were using for the beta one of these days.

So, if you are looking for a time killer, it fits very good. But if online games are not your thing, you might want to skip out or think about it first.

Oh, I almost forgot... I was gonna show you how to use bittorrent to get lotsa good movies and other goodies. If you have any questions about this crap, feel free to hit me up whenever.

- Download this file and save it to the desktop or whatever. Run the exe and install the software... it should be a pretty standard windows installation (just hit the next button until its done, yadda yadda).
- Once that's installed, you have to go out and download some torrents. The actual torrent file is really small and will download quickly, but you have to use the above program to actually download the movies via torrent. To get the torrents, you just go to one of many torrent sites on the web. The two that I usually go to are suprnova and isohunt.
- When you find something you wanna download, right click on the link, then hit "save target as". Save the .torrent file to your desktop or whatever, then open it up in that program which you downloaded (called bit tornado or something). You need to make sure you have lots of hard drive space for this, as each of the files are gonna be fuckin' huge. Also, the downloads will take a longass time to run (a day or so is par for the course).
