I have had a bad attack of depression and anxiety for the last couple of weeks. I need to slow down and remind myself to B R E A T H E.

You've got great self-awareness to help you manage symptoms.

And, you know you're right about being able to get back into yoga - or any other practice of physical activity.  Puts you in touch with your body, helps keep the mind right both chemically and spiritually.  If I can offer the wisdom of a few more years than you without sounding too gross, I urge you to get back into something, anything.  Make the habit a life habit.  Once you get out of it, and the longer you're out of it, the harder it is to get back into the swing.  I have long-running pattern of "Yeah, I'm not in the best shape I've been in, or quite where I want to be, but I'm happy enough with myself.  No need to put that effort in  ...Oh shit- what happened!!!"  Rinse, repeat.

Eep - I jumped in a bit early on the response! I’m actually off all meds now, olanzapine isn’t really a long-term option for most people but I’ve been doing neurofeedback therapy and it’s helping a lot. But you’re right, it’s ultimately about doing what’s best for you. And thank you so much for the compliment, you’re right, he is a good man, I’m very lucky. He’s helped me through some of the darkest times of my life and it’s only served to make our relationship stronger :) loved that blog, thank you for directing me to that! Thank you also for the encouragement to exercise… I haven’t been bothered because there’s nowhere nice in our house or yard to practice yoga but I just thought, maybe I’ll take my mat to the park around the corner in the mornings and see how that goes!
