and yes, people being nice to me is a new thing. i'm sure it has something to do with the fact that i grew up in a conservative little town where dumbasses didn't like the way i dressed and i was too nerdy for their tastes. but seriously, within the last year or so, people have been nicer to me than they ever have in my life. sometimes ridiculously so. i'm not sure what it is... maybe i've just been nicer, and i never noticed what an asshole i was before. in any case, i'm not complaining...

I watched 28 Days Later, and I was disappointed. It was good, and I enjoyed the fact it wasn't "American' in style, but everyone I talked to said "Dude, it's so scary"...I didn't find it scary at all.
