I did a gig (back in 2001) at a bar in Seattle called the Contour. It was near Pioneer something as I recall. Same place I wonder?

I also did gigs at the Sit and Spin and a lesbian bar called The Rebar.
zero:
Just checkin if you're still going to Vegas.

Air hockey always ends up with someone getting their knuckles bashed... which makes me giggle. I'm not that good at scoring, but I can bounce that little puck around all day.
sliggy:
Oh man, that would be bad if you sent them the naked pics! How awkward?! eeek

I love pool, too! I am kinda like the dude from WKRP cause I get better at it the more drunk I am.

Air hockey is a lot of fun! Ever play the shuffel board tables?

Yes, the winds of change, always blowing, yet standing so still. There are certain SGs, like yourself, that are sealed in concrete in my favs, but you have to allow me at least one or two fickle slots there, being a fickle man and all. biggrin

As far as that abandoned property. I think if the deed is fully paid off, and the property isn't posing any danger to the public, no action will be taken on it by the city or county. That's one amazing thing about our country, how much privacy is valued and upheld. I often have that sense in my house - as long as the bills remain paid, no one ever bothers me for anything, ever. It's a bit eerie sometimes how long I think I could go in this manner.

Maybe he just up and left one day with no plan at all and is living on the coast of Mexico, to hell with his old life. That would be cool.

Perhaps, yes. I also give this kind of idea quite a bit of thought. After many years of trying to do so, it's pretty clear I don't mesh with an organized society all that well. If I liquefied all my assets, I'd have enough to live in a place like Mexico, or an island in the South Pacific for many years, perhaps indefinitely given a humble lifestyle. The idea is very intoxicating. The only thing that keeps me from this is the sense that I would be failing my fellow man by doing so. How does the world improve by me living merrily in an open air beach bungalow attending to only my needs? I think the answer is, that it doesn't. I feel some obligation to stay and try to improve at least some of the inequities for subsequent generations - like Kiley's, and her kids, and her kids after that. Because, I think I can. So perhaps, I must.

Sometimes things are better left unsaid. I think the mystery of that lot has sparked enough inquiry and thought and wonder and discourse that it should remain as it is and continue to do so.

kiss

You give me playa withdrawls....

I'll be in Seattle this weekend. I'll try to stop by Contour to say howdy.

Had a photoshoot last night in Everett with the most beautiful Chopper bike that was the first creation by Puget Sound Choppers. The paint job was done by Killer Paint and was incredible. Here are some shots Miguel took during the shoot, but the final images will be cleaned up and available by poster in the next couple of weeks. There is a big bike...

I need to update more. Thursday night was our bodypainting night at SeeSound lounge. I put together a cool costume and was ready to go but their power kept going out so we had to pack it in. They were cool about it and paid us anyway.

Miguel just brought me up a plate with sliced up honedew, a pickle and wasabi peas. Thats...

Be happy that the power only went out where you were. Freakin tornados were about here in Sacramento.....what the hell....there's not supposed to be tornados in California!!! eeek And I was almost rubbed out by one of them.

We meant to stay low-key at home but somehow ended up at the Twilight Exit on Valentines evening. Ericka in Kimono, Miguel in playa fur and me in some crazy pink and white fur minidress that barely covered my ass and made me look like Mrs. Santa's Valentines cousin.

Good times kiss

So I a m going to start riding my bike to work next week, which I want to do for more exercise. I live on the top Madison Valley and am surrounded by hills which are going to leave me breathless at first, I know. Also going to start up some dance classes at Velocity and go back to vegetarianism. Its time to get healthy....

Happy V-day lovey!

And kudos on biking to work. BE VERY CAREFUL though. People do NOT pay attention when they are driving. I used to ride to work as well and got almost hit numerous times. And even though it looks a bit silly, and you'll get helmet hair....wear a helmet. biggrin
huck:
hello there, i was lookin through my fave pics folder and realised u dominate the collection, with like 7 or 8 shots - so i thought it would make sense to add u as a fave SG. i hope u approve!

What 80's fashions and trends do you remember most? I am going to an 80's party this weekend and started thinking about what I was going to wear...I immediately thought of polo shirts and keds but then as I thought about it further, all these little memories of Hello Kitty slide lipgloss, dressed up Snoopies (You know like Aviator snoopy, MD Snoopy etc), Moon Boots...

I enjoyed your tale of grocery store romance, thanks. Your pops sounds like an extremely persistent individual. I couldn't ever imagine being that persistent with a woman, but I sure it would draw results. I think I'll stick to my virtual world for now, I seem to do much better there.

Maybe some 80's ruminations tomorrow - it was certainly a formative time for me.

I came back early. Working overseas is fun, I have come to realize, when it is warm and tropical outside. But no fun at all in the midst of a freezing sea of suits. I would walk around drowning in all the fancy pants and stony faces and I guess that had to do with not really being able to get that far out of...

I dreamt of miniature little japanese people, uncooked and limp lying on their right sides dressed in the latest fashions with lots of skin showing, atop mounds of sticky rice in the window of a sushi shop with little pins holding them there.

Still in Japan. Wish I had somebody to travel with here though. I went out last weekend dancing at 2 huge clubs....

Wow. I am in a Cyber Comic cafe on the 12th floor of a building surrounded my miles and miles of the city and a cemetary smack dab in the middle of it all crowded in the smallest space with hundreds and hundreds of tombstones that I saw from the elevator. This place is crazy and huge. On one side are tons of dark, warm...
