I can't find my journal, you guys. Panic is ensuing. There seems to be a trend of me losing things; my mind, my silverware, my shirts, my interest in the world wide web, my journal.

there was one time in my last apartment where randomly EVERY SINGLE SPOON WAS GONE. the rage! i had to buy new ones and ensure my roomate did not use them.

I guess it depends on the mood I'm in...just a "generic" evening buzz calls for Jane's Addiction (and Porno for Pyros), Beck, Dead, Phish (and Oysterhead), Smashing Pumpkins (PRE-Mellon Collie), Joy Formidable, Soul Coughing, and/or Bob Marley (early Wailers stuff, especially).
Other times, I like to get "old school" and throw on Rolling Stones, Magic Mystery Tour era Beatles, Doors, Pink Floyd, Back Sabbath, etc. You know...the classics.
Other times, I like to do some thinking with the Pogues, Gogol Bordello, and various American Folk/bluegrass tunes...
If I'm feeling frisky, I go with Bassnectar, Lords of Acid, Poe, and maybe some Khia...
For more of an introspective or nostalgic time, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Dead Kennedys, and random 80's pop fits the bill (Dexy's Midnight Runners, Duran Duran, Wall of Voodoo, Go Go's, etc, etc. etc.).
Sometimes I visit my louder side, and dig on some Iron Maiden, Kreator, Motorhead, (OLD) Anthrax, Judas Priest, etc...
Random jazz on public radio is another way I wile away ethereal wanderings, and I have some Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra on my Mp3 for shits and giggles, too...
When I'm on a more spiritual trip, I like to cut off ALL mechanical noise and just listen to the world around me...
Yeahhhhhh...I don't puff like I used to, but I choose to live without TV and like to let all the different tunes play little movies in my head.
Being generous with subconscious minutes is a window to a kind soul. Rock ON.

and I can't recommend any pizza places for ya since I'm one of those odd ones that don't eat pizza (shocking, I know)
combination of "hyper-allergy" to dairy and an eventual dislike of the taste of pizza (wierd, I know - I got a LOT of shiite for it!)...
my co-workers order primarily from Jet's Pizza - though I'm thinking it might only be a NorthEast suburb of Minneapolis thing? Not sure of any other locations.
[ I do like Pizza Hut breadsticks - with extra seasoning, if possible ]
...other than pizza places, I've always liked Frisky's (in Anoka) for barfood/restaurant style. I don't get out much anymore and most of the other places I used to go are sadly long closed down
Psycho Suzi's I haven't been to since their old location, but it's still a damn fun bar/lounge to go to!

I think translation: " I will let you get away with the monroe piercing - I rather like that !" But - no nose ring of any kind ! Certainly no spikes ! "maybe a little hoop corner of your mouth ?" Invasive behavior - employers think the can get away with - well they can - with our current judges, sad to say.
