This kid is 18 and already phenomenal. He's born in france from Argentinian parents and currently plays for River Plate. The french NT coach has offered him a call up for the France-Greece friendly this month. Will he accept and should he?

It's apparently his father who made all the noise about him being eligible for french team. it could have been to make a buzz about him in europe to attract an european club, or it could have been just to catch domenech's eyes, you guess.

as for his nationality i'm pretty sure he is argentinian too, he has already been called up a bunch of times for their national team, so he has to have the citizenship to be called. He will indeed give up his eligibility for whichever national team he doesn't choose to play for as soon as he plays his first OFFICIAL game (unlike this friendly game against greece) with one or the other team. It's the same for every player with double citizenships.

For example David Jemmali once played in the french Under 21 and A' team, but those games weren't considered official, and he now plays for Tunisia, but can't be called for French A team anymore (not that he would have been anyway lol).

And there's quite a lot of case like this one with a lot of players of african parents but born in france, who therefore have the two nationalities and are eligible for both countries, like Higuain, except that he left very soon after his birth to his original country.

Not so many countries allow the double citizenship like in France and I don't think that Argentina does.

So, we've got this wine dinner coming up in a week or so, and it features Argentinian and Chilean wines. Although we usually don't limit ourselves like this, for some bizaare reason we're doing food themed to that region. So the chef tells me to get online and find some …

Chile is a huge seafood contry, look for abalones, razor clams, mussels, spider crabs, oysters, conger eels, salmon, corbinas., sea bass.

Argentina = Beef.

I used to have a roommate who's parents wer Argentine. So far as I could gather all they eat is beef off the grill. Supposedly they have very different cuts than we do here...maybe that could help?

The Argentinian government has rejected the idea of holding the referendum and will reject the results. In the end, they can't legally force the population to become Argentinian except by GB walking away. They could try conquest, which would not exactly be 'legal'. I don't see GB walking away and I don't think the Argentinians will try the conquest stunt again so this is destined to be entertaining for quite a while.

I'm also considering one of these, though I haven't been able tosee one up close. My gun dealer swears by his which carried him through vietnam. And other gun guys also swear by them, but what of the ones made under license by the Argentinians.

This country is definetly a melting pot. There are people from all over the world. Yet, there is something to be said about traditions and values. Though someone, like myself, may spend most of their life here, and adapt to the American culture, at the core, we still uphold the values instilled through childhood.

I'm starting to believe that my failure in relationships are partly,...
