I stumbled across this meme today and just had to share it here because the accuracy is too real.
For anyone who doesn’t live in the Lone Star State, let me paint a picture for you: driving here is an extreme sport where the orange traffic cone is officially the state flower. It feels like the second a highway project finishes, they immediately start tearing up the lane right next to it.
Whether you’re navigating the multi-lane madness of Houston, the perpetual standstill in Austin, or the endless overpass construction in Dallas, you’ve definitely lived this photo. We’ve joked for years that there are only two seasons here—summer and construction—but I think Texas finally achieved its ultimate final boss goal of just doing it all at once!
