I had my tongue spit on Friday evening (Jan 10th, 2025) by Martin Kraus (formerly at Ganesha Bodyart, Cologne, Germany, now at Fifty Felons Tattoo, Cologne). It was an easy procedure: Brush teeth a final time, mouthwash, some lidocaine spray, more lidocaine, cutting. Stitching it all up took the longest time.

Took a Diclofenac pill (75mg) some 2 hourse before, continueing with one about every 12h. (It's a bit longer interval than 12h, I wait until I start feeling a burning sensation.) Not too much swelling (only in the cut part of the tongue, not down the throat), no pain. Didn't even apply cooling pads, just resting for a few days. More salvia than usual, but I'm not drooling at all---I can easily swallow it.

Up to now, I couldn't be happier with it! :)
