I normally write a workout piece, open up my brain to the idea of writing. Its normally an incomplete story or like a story thats missing parts. then when I want to really write my brain is more focused on creating everything, I want by filling in what has not been written.

It seems like a weird concept but for me it works, However I only write poems and short stories, I have never done anything like a novel. I am sure that just by writing anything at all down will help push the flow for what anyone wants to write.

However, writers block is very real and if you can't write anything at all, do another creative hobby to spark interest. eventually your creative centers will turn back on.

@vegetablesalad I agree, get your ideas down its always terrible for me in the first parts. After that its revise and fill in. Character development is difficult for me sometimes. So I will write interview questions and answer them in the characters tone to help develop them. Never had an issue with world building though. My imagination is way out there.

Hello Sg Land!🥰

What did you do today?

I’m actually doing volunteer in a cat refuge in the south of Spain with over 80 cats, I’m working everyday for them and I’m very happy to save them from the street, feed them and take care about them.

And another nice thing about this is that the refuge has a pool😻 and a garden for meditation
