I remember in the eighties our local ABC station did a summer promotion thing where they broadcast a different 1950s 3D movie every weekend for a month. I feel like we bought the glasses at 7-11; maybe they came with a Slurpee or something like that.

However we got them, I remember watching local weather guy Johnnie Mountain host a movie called Gorilla At Large....

I can remember some kung-fu-esque horribly produced 3D’s… the ones where the swords came slashing right at your face. I saw a pristine pair of those 7-11 paper goggles at a flea market last summer, wanted $50, no thanks. Didn’t need to spend that much recalling old memories that usually ended badly. Thanks for your candidness though… maybe if I squint really hard through those red and green plastic lenses my memories might gain some warmth.

Unfortunately for me my mom was my bully. My dad left before I was born so she blamed me for him leaving and she never let me forget it. I am glad you are able to pull out some happy memories from that time though. I still suffer from PTSD because of my childhood.

I recall the way that she would lean to fill up the kettle for us to make tea in the office. It was unusual… awkward. And it was loveable, like everything that she did. I’d walk to the kitchen behind her and feel amused, and enamoured, by the way she walked. It was like a catwalk model, but slower… and she was funky (in the...

Q: 1/12 Which artist across all of history would you pick to create a fan art piece of you?

As a SuicideGirls hopeful, my affinity for the unconventional and alternative is a defining trait. We take what people think makes us strange or weird and redefine it to be what makes us exceptional. No one, no artist, embodies this better than the master of dramatic...

If the average user took time to learn the math behind Tinder, they’d understand how heavily weighted against them the app algorithm is and why it is such a false money maker, praying on human emotions.

Everything you do in the app will count for/against you - swipe right more times than left you’ll be categorised as unattractive and not shown to potential matches - why ? Because quite simply the computer judges you as desperate.

It’s a very minor example but these places do not care about you and do not deserve your money.

I may sound bitter but far from it, I’m more interested in the exploitation of human emotions by large corp companies using AI and computer algorithms.. it’s a very dangerous ground and I urge you all to take some care of yourselves.

Let nature lead you to meet the people you are destined to meet - it shouldn’t cost you a subscription.
