Ah, I see. Thank you. I guess it was probably because I posted this in June, but all the replies came in mid-August, when I was away.

What I see is a lot of wide angle shots, so that the photographer (and thus the viewer) is very much "right there in the action). There is also a lot of eye contact, drawing you in, and it looks like they are pausing as if to wait for you to decide what to do next.
I agree that a lot of multi-sets are set up more centric to the models than the viewer -- but this set really does seem to attempt to include the viewer.
