Oh, this is such a hard question for me. Pretty much all four of the main detectives on SVU, but if forced to choose one, I think it would have to be Munch.

Briscoe definitely, but for SVU, I'd have to say Munch, and Goren is pretty interesting too.

Rip to Jay. They didn't do a lot to mark the passing of Brodie at first either. I think they'd rather take the time and do a proper setup first, so that its not some passing note on a show.

If by "age gracefully" you mean "get taken off the air after a mere 27 episodes," then sure.
