So I broke my leg on June 8th, and I was put into a walking boot 10 days ago, I can walk around a little, but not far, and not long.. I was wondering if there was any exercises that someone could recommend that I do while my leg is …
What bones did you break? Upper leg (femur) or lower leg (tibea/fibula)?
Physical therapy!!!
If that's not an option, or insurance doesn't cover it... Let me tell you what I was told to do for PT when my lower leg was broken.
Light biking, or using an exercise bike. Limit it to 10-15 mins. at a time.
Light stretching. Pilates. Leg lifts - especially ones that use the muscles in the part of your leg that was not broken. Anything upper body is fine. Those weight resistance machines where you sit in a seat, and then press your thighs inwards or outwards (if you broke your lower leg, like I did. If you broke your femur, that might not be okay.)
There's also this this exercise where you lie on your back, pull your legs into your chest (in the fetal position) then press them up into the air at a 90 degree angle, and then slowly lower them to the floor.
I think that all of the things I've mentioned *should* be safe if you are healing a lower broken leg, but don't take my advice: consult with a trainer, a doctor, or a PT. Go extra gentle and listen to your body's limits more than ever. Don't drive yourself too hard.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a good list describing what all the different cuts of pants actually mean in the terms of the way they fit.. I haven't worn jeans in over a decade and I can't for the life of me remember what all these cuts are …
I'm with luna. Low-rise and boot cut or wide leg. Go for a brand that that has a target customer for thos with bigger butts. Definitely not Diesel. Maybe Seven's? It also helps to go to a boutique that has many brands and have someone help you and try on a LOT. That's what I do.
and like Luna said for skinny jeans you need to be really thin or a girl.
sounds to me like you want tapered leg then. i'm personally not a fan, but then again im short and feel like a weeble wobble when i wear tapered. could be different for those taller.
What's the best way to see every curve in your favorite SG's body while she still has her clothes on? Leggings! It's one step away from body paint. Tight and sexy, just the way we like it.
Fashion Notes
It's the trend that just won't go away. Leggings are here …

Did any of you watch Sesame Street - or did you go straight to surfing porn? My last journal entry was about an oft played cartoon on Sesame....oh whatever....
I'm reading about a mining accident in Scotland a long time ago. The braking mechanism on the cage elevator failed and 40 people dropped, like, 4000 feet. The miners were drilled in case of this emergency... Read More

And thanks everyone for the input.
