So I find out today if my doctor wants me under the knife... Para-Thyroidectomy. The question is do I want to go under the knife?

Besides feeling scared shitless, I can't wrap my brain around this to make an informed decision... I don't want to think about it. My other choice is transplant... something I really can't deal with at the moment
