funny thing about the weather... when I moved here at age 16, the day I arrived on the bus it was 94 degrees in Seattle. Everyone was pissing and moaning about how hot it was. I had to dig through my suitcase for my jacket because it felt cool I had come from Texas where we were having 110 degree or more weather.
today after many years to acclimate it was 94 degrees in Seattle. I spent the day with a large fan, a spray bottle full of water, and ice cold Dr Peppers. I've become a whimp... this winter I prayed for warm weather, and now I'm kinda looking forward to fall. and not because fall is my favorite season.
I got my membership, finally, and membership has it privileges. I met some kick ass people on Tuesday. I tend to be reserved and shy around strangers. but I felt comfortable with these people right away. how rare is that?
I have been looking forward to M. Night Shyamalan's new flic, and he hosted "Unbreakable" on ABC. Showed 7 and a half minutes scenes from "The Village". DAMN it looked good, and scary... but just before I turned the t.v. off, I heard "rated PG-13". so just how scary can it be? But I'll probably go see it if I can find some other people that want to see it too. I've liked all of his other movies that I've seen.
