Many many years ago the lord of the Hikone castle returned home from a long falcon hunting trip. He hurried to take a hot bath. On the path he passed a small temple. On the entrance a white cat was beckoning him with its paw. A strange beautiful creature. So lord Ii Naotaka stopped and entered the small temple. After entering the building a sudden storm struck the place and a fierce rain and hail did not spare anybody. Ii Naotaka spent some hours talking the the monk there, who granted him a very intelligent and interesting discussion. After that the lord looked for the cat but did not find any trace of the animal. It surely was a kami, a kami who brough much luch to Ii Naotaka. And now the Kami is granting luck to everybody who visits its temple. @headshot :)
