Many many years ago I read the Princess of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs. It was a magical read for me. The adventures of a lonely hero on Mars. The fights the friendships and love he found in a far strange lands. Then the magic was gone the pulp things seemed to be primitive and not so cool. But with the age the magic slowly returned. I like it again, its simplicity the naive display of power and bravery and the charming Princess of Mars itelf. So if you want to take part in adventures of John Carter this text is for you. Short, naive and magical (for me). Thx to John Lansdale, the author of this adventure, for returning me to the magical world of Mars and my far far past!
