Read "Family Tradition" by Edward Lee. Another story full of drugs, sex and (no Rock'n Roll) but well.... gourmets. A story of rivalry between two world class chefs, their restaurants and their search for a rare breed of an eel. It ends like a piece of Shakespeare but with more blood and gore. If you like hard stuff, you can go for it. But be warned, there is something more behind it :)

@donawhale OK, so here are some spoilers.... A world class chef takes his brother
and travels to a secluded lake to find a rare breed of eel. They also
take their girlfriends to that trip. In the center of the lake there is
an island. Two rednecks and their father are living there, one of them
is also a chef but.... he likes to prepare dishes out of humans. They
kidnap people and "prepare" them for a meal. When an another world class
cook appears to prevent his rival from finding the fish the party
starts. There are also two bad girls who want to commit suicide one
kidnapped man and a female prisoner.... well a high explosive cocktail
for your mind.
