I love blue skies, especially if they are crossed by the fastest passenger bird of all times. Unfortunately they no longer fly....
Read "Damnation Alley" by Roger Zelazny. The book belongs to the few postapocalyptic fiction texts I like. Just wondering why Mel Gibson did not take it to make a nice cool movie. If you like Mad Max it is your book!
