Just read that book and loved it. You know why? The main character is an engineer learning from his mistakes. Not only that, he shares his love for practical mechanical stuff with me :)

@zweitesich hey man! I haven't stopped by your page in a while and I'm loving your photography! This picture speaks to me, at my core. I totally agree with your assessment that there are these areas that are trapped in time and it seems like nothing can or has disturbed these areas in a long time. I love this area you've captured man! It really is quite striking and eerie but in a calming way to me. Good stuff man!
