Parked the car and went down the stairs..... sometimes you find amazing things, even in ugly buildings.

Went to France for some days so was not able to upload a pic. The small city has got a very nice castle. It looks great! Espiecially at night. Can you hear the chains of the ghosts living here?

... walked around in the evening and visited the Omiya Hachimangu. You can buy there a lot of lucky charms, see the archers practicing for the god of war and take a pic of a lonely lantern at the entrance.

In the basement there is an old box with even older books. My father read them in the past. I opened it and fished a small book out, with yellow pages, the covers bent to the outside, the printing cheap. It was "All Quiet on the Western Front" written by E.M. Remarque.
