So. Last night I dreamt I was a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
This dream came after another one, which wasn't as fun. I can't remember what it was about, but it woke me up with a distinct feeling of dread, panic and an insane heart rate. Anyway. Managed to fall back asleep. Must have been lying rather strangely in bed, whilst dreaming about being a T-Rex, because when I woke up, I could barely move my arms. The upper arm muscles were completely numb/sleeping.
To top it off, a few moments after I had woken up (with the depressing realization that I wasn't a T-Rex), the phone rang. So, imagine observing a human-shaped T-Rex lying down, trying to sit up and reach a cell phone. That's how my morning started. And once I had managed the laborious task of reaching the phone, trying to adjust to not growling and try to speak coherently.
So yeah. The day has sort-of been a downhill slope after that.
But damn, it felt good to be a T-Rex.
