Received a text from a friend. "Going to a concert. Want to meet up for food and beer before?"
Figured why not. Had not planned anything more complicated than food, doing dishes and vegetating, so any distraction was welcome.
Had no idea which band it was, or where, but I grabbed my camera anyway when heading out the door.
After a few beers and some solid food, I figured I'd tag along to see the band. The band being, Au Revoir Simone. A Dreamish pop/indie/something trio hailing from hipster heaven - Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
A few snaps. The music was rather good. Well worth seeing live, if you get the chance.
