my evening RULED!
you see, i reeeeeally wanted to go to see slipknot tonight but didn't have the time/$$$.
then at the last minute, i got a call from my cousin - her boyfriend bought an e-ticket and couldn't make the show and BAM - just like that, i had a free ticket to the show!
so i dropped the hammer in my truck to make the show in time. i reached my seat about 30 seconds before the house lights went out and the 'knot came out and ROCKED THE FUCKING HOUSE. holy sheeeot! they put on one of the best shows i've seen in quite a while.
'heretic anthem' was the heaviest song of the night i think... yeah, i blew out my voice screaming to that song. good stuff!
oh yeah, 'vermillion' is WAY heavier live than on the album. i was really impressed!
overall, it was a killer show and i'm one lucky mofo to have caught it.
my family kicks ass.
