Well, the protest went surprisingly smooth. There were a minimal number of arrests and the voices of the protesters were heard loud and clear. More info on the event can be had at AZ Indy Media. If you look real careful-like, you just might spot me. Here's a hint - I'm one of the peeps wearing a bright yellow shirt. biggrin

Oh, and on a side note, my legal observing partner turned out to be a UNDERCOVER COP! Ha! That was an interesting development.

So I really want to go out tonight, but I'm not sure where... There is a movie I've been wanting to see, Black Cloud but at the same time, I really want to see The Clare Voyants, so maybe I'll do that...

Decisions, decisions... biggrin

Well, at least we agree on one thing: A new president. smile

I've been doing a lot of posting on here and in another online journal community lately (more there than here, because there are plenty of communities in which to do so). It's been a long time since I've gotten so involved in something, and I'm really enjoying it.

Anyway. You said you're slowly coming around to Kerry...if you ever want to talk about it, you can most likely find me on AIM (temperachel7). When I first registered, I did so as a Democrat. My parents were, and you know how it goes. But after that, I was an independent. Until now.

I guess my thing is that if W stays in office for another four years, we pretty much know how things are going to go (downhill). At least with Kerry, we have a fighting chance at avoiding a draft scenario, improving the way we're viewed in the international community, righting some of the wrongs that have happened in Iraq, improving healthcare conditions in the US, and getting our budget back on track (to name a few).

Law of averages only goes so far... Annoying predictability far outweighs it in this case.
