so it's friday and i'm meeting an old co-worker for dinner to catch up. i haven't seen him in 3 years and things have changed a great deal. he and i see eye to eye politically, and round one of the presidental debate should be interesting fodder for discussion.
all this of course, means that i don't have a date tonight... not even one that will be rescheduled for monday. i can't say that i am not disappointed by this, but given the context of things (not to mention the absolutely shitty week i've had) i'm not suprised that it's ending like this.
not to overreact or to come off as totally emo, but i have a strong feeling that this marks the end of the latest foray into dating. there were a few very key differences in the beginning that, on paper at least, spelled doom for this union before we even got together, so again, i guess i shouldn't be suprised. but at the same time, i really don't want this to end. ain't that always the way...
so this weekend will most likely be dedicated to research and law related stuffs.
that makes me sad.
have a good weekend everyone.
peace.
