Sorry I havent blogged in a while!
I've been super busy getting tons of hours at my new job - over time and holiday pay for today biggrin

My boyfriend, myself, and our friend all went to the Mutter Meseum in Philly. Your technically NOT allowed to take pictures, but some sneaky 'lil someone (myself) snagged a few smile

This one is a picture of what they call the "Soap Lady" Yes, all of the bodies, babies, skulls, human leather, ect. in the Museum is %100 real. Creepy! They call the substand that she's cloaked in grave soap. I'm not quite sure why it happens, but it's pretty neat looking!


They had dried body parts on display also to show you the viens and muscles in the human body. It looks really strange, even plastic-like. Very cool though! It makes it look very detailed smile


This is of the same arm, just the hand part. If you look closely in the picture you can see the fingernails are still attached. SCARY!


Now, this is when it gets crazy. This, ladies and stick carriers, is an actual human head, sliced up in pieces for medical research. The eyes have wilthered and the skin is a little bit yellow from old age, but the details of the brain, skull, and all of that other stuff in insane!


This is another dried body - but of a child. The heart was also dried to show the inner workings and size of a childs circulatory system. It is some pretty interesting stuff!


Ok, this is not for the light hearted. This my loves, is a real fetus.

SO, that's been my week fo rthe most part. Thank you to EVERYONE who commented, and "Loved" my new set. It was a great turnout and I am currently working on getting together with a good photographer in the area biggrin
