Falling behind on the updates, been a little busy.
Here's the short version for you lazy jerks out there:
Steffanie and I are officially dating now (not quite sure what the difference was, we still act the same around each other [read: stupid] but i'm not complaining, she's super fun)

I'm currently living like a squatter in the spare room whilst my room is being painted and having some laminate flooring put in. I really want to play Rockband but I have no space to do so in here :S

Work is getting fucking stupid with tons of new rules and bullshit.

Halloween is coming up and my costume just needs some small detail touches to be perfected, but i'd have no problems taking it out as it is.

And the last mini-note: my nephews first birthday is on saturday!

So after having hung out with Steff a bunch and knowing that I still wanted to be with her, I managed to stumble out the words to try and make things official. I say stumble not quite because I was nervous (I kinda was, but nothing serious) but because I didn't have my thoughts all together when I needed them. It was a clumsy and awkward "so, ummm..." thing because i'm a fucking knob.

Things are going along very well between us though and I couldn't ask for anything more. She's beautiful, funny and creative. Not once has it felt like i'm being used or taken for granted. Been a little while on that one. She's great and makes me happy.

Halloween is fast approaching and the work i've been putting into my costume has come together quite nicely. The three major items I needed were gasmask, big gun and a tactical vest. All of which are here and work together quite well. I needed to get a balaclava to wear over the mask itself so that my hair is not flayed out at the top and ruining the image. I know i've got at least one party confirmed on the 30th. Steffanie is going to the Rue Morgue party in Toronto on the 31st and I will be joining her assuming that she can get extra tickets and I get the next day off. Otherwise i'll be attending the party held by a co-worker every year which is always awesome. If I end up in Toronto though, i'll have to either leave the gun behind or find a way to keep it attached without it being cumbersome or getting me in trouble. Even though it's a Nerf gun, I have it painted black and grey and might cause panic to the jumpy stupid people.

I've also found out that i'm likely going to be seeing Say Anything perform in Toronto on the 28th. squee biggrin
