aaaalrighty, so since i've realised that halloween is right around the corner, I need to get my ass in gear with a costume.
My current ideas are pretty easy to throw together

first: Abe from Clone High.
Requirements: tall, lanky, shorter brown hair, sideburns and a chinbeard, all I need for this would be a white T shirt with blue sleeves and i'd have everything.
Pros: Funny, easy to make
Cons: slightly obscure, maybe a little too easy to do

secondly; Ash of Evil Dead/Army of Darkness fame.
requirements: brown trousers, blue shirt, boomstick (toy shotgun, bb gun), chainsaw, shave chin beard, get rid of sideburns, lots of fake blood, possible mechanical hand.
Pros: it's fucking ASH
cons: my chin is nowhere NEAR as epic as Bruce Campbell's, lots of work, chainsaw hand could cause problems, toy gun would look overtly cheap, back mounted boomstick holster construction could be a bitch, could be a little on the expensive side

thrid: Ghost
requirements: white sheet, scissors to cut eyeholes
Pros: classic, kinda funny, affordable
cons: real cheap, real lazy

fourth: Waluigi, Nintendo's "evil Luigi"
requirements: tall slender physique, white gloves, purple shirt/cap, black overalls, fake moustache
Pros: amusing, geeky
cons: purple

fifth: Guitar Hero
requirements: 10-15 circular tap-lights, 4-5 star shaped tap lights, cardboard sandwich board, paint (green, red, yellow, blue, orange)
Pros: easily recognizable, original idea
cons: cumbersome

sixth: iPod commercial
requirements: dress in all black head to toe so that no skin shows, wear ipod earbuds/iPod
Pros:slightly amusing
cons: all black facial execution could be tricky...
