So I just got in from work and found a note from my mom to tell me that she had gone out, on top of that, she had a small piece of news that shattered my mood and made my day do a 180. Apparently while I was working, Alyssa called and I suppose they got to talking a bit when she got my mom to pass this bomb on to me...

She's going to be calling me late tonight when she gets home!!!
I'm soooo uber-stoked!

Update:
She called me around 8:30 or so from Thunder Bay as she was getting ready to board her bus for the 20 hour (goddamn!) ride back to Toronto, she'll be arriving today (sunday) at about 6:30 or so and staying with her friend for a few days, so i'm trying desperately to get out there to see her, even though my next day off is Friday, but by then she'll be back up in Oshawa and out of my reach.
