Most people have probably heard about the new anti-terror legislation in the States, whereby anybody, anywhere, can be declared an "enemy combatant", then be held indefinitely without trial, tortured, etc.
I finally figured out the US government's agenda here. You'll recall that they're fond of saying that the terrorists "... hate us because of our freedom."
Their solution is now clear. Simply eliminate all freedoms from the American people (and everybody else)... then the terrorists will no longer have any reason to hate them. Brilliant!!

Ooh.... dunno if this will excite you as much as it did me...but did you know Stardust (the MOVIE!!) is coming out in March... And it has Claire Danes in it! YIIPPPPPPEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean about distractions - apparently most things have the ability to distract me and set me off on a completely-unrelated, not even remotely tangential thought leaving me wondering where I was in the first place. But SG is a *good* distraction, or isn't it?
