Well, originally we were packing everyone up to go down to City Club tonight for my birthday. It's also Rick's birthday though and he decided that he didn't want to go to City Club. He would rather go to the Machine Shop. Normally I would be okay with this, but it's a band I don't particularly like and they're charging 15 bucks for the show.
This leaves us splitting everyone up so I decided to just have cocktails at home. I think that some people are still coming over, but it will be much more low key and that's what I like anyways. I can't say that I was looking forward to the drive down to the D anyways. I'm not a huge fan of car rides and especially long car rides.
My actually birthday was on Tuesday so I don't really feel a huge need to celebrate anyway. We sat around the house and ate junk food and watched movies and I'm okay with that.
