My sister had a birthday party for my nephew at my grandma's house yesterday. Her first mistake was to have this party at my grandma's house. I don't know why she did it. I guess she thought that people wouldn't want to drive all the way out to her house since most of the family lives nearer to grandma. Maybe she just didn't want to have to worry about cleaning up at her house. Whatever her reason was, it's never a good idea to plan a party with crazy grandma.

We thought that everything was going all right. Grandma hadn't done anything too bad except try and eat a half raw burger that fell on the ground. That's pretty normal for her so we just made her throw it away and finished the cooking. Then, about the time that everyone had started eating, the back door opened and come people came walking out that no one knew.

Scratch that. Apparently one person there knew.

Crazy grandma invited some random people to my sister and nephew's birthday party. We don't know who they are except their names and we're really unsure where she met them, but they brought a gift and came prepared to invade the party.

I actually thought my sister's head was going to explode. She was so furious that I worried she was going to break her water right there and throw her newly born baby at my grandma. (Only 7 more weeks of baking to do on my neice btw.)

My mom looked like she was going to hit grandma over the head with something too so I gave her a beer that I had hidden in the Emergency Beer Refrigerator and she was much more calm.

The only positive thing is that it gave us an excuse to escape early.

Anyways, time to go to work. That's my boring update.
