Well, it's Thursday so it was the usual trip to the Farmer's Market. I bought meat and some buttermilk blue cheese as well as baklava and pita chips. As we were leaving Rick called and said he was leaving work and wanted to go so we went back home and waited for him so we could make a second trip.

He had to shower before he could go so I had time to rake up the yard a bit and get it ready for flower planting. It's not quite nice enough to transplant the herb seedlings that I've been growing in the kitchen outside yet, but I'll be able to plant the flower seeds that I bought in March this week hopefully.

The people who lived here before us didn't take care of the yard at all so it's pretty sad looking at the moment. There's lots of dead plants and the grass is dead in places. It definitely needs some TLC, but I'm pretty sure that I can have it looking great in just a few weeks.

The warm weather also gave me a chance to wear my Steve Madden cork wedges again and that made my entire day. Hot shoes = good times.

It's supposed to be nice again tomorrow. I should definitely call off work. I won't though because I'm too damn responsible. Boo responsibility.
