I just enrolled in a PADI open water diver course......to learn to scuba dive, and get my international diver permits.
I will be able to do all of the studying/bookwork/quizes here.....then after that part of the course is completed
I will have to travel to Key Largo, Florida, for a week of real-dive trainning with a proffesional instructor.
I have wanted to do this for a long time, and have mulled over the idea of doing a remote course because of an uncertainty of the quality. I live in Iowa, about as far from the ocean as you can get, and so this seems to be as good of an option as any. Hopfully it works out well!
Looking forward to getting through the next few months, making it through the holidays and on to tax time and beyond.......

Have fun in Florida. I have a diver permit by the way. but I got that years ago and forgot almost everything.
my dad smiles, he very rarely laughs out loud and especially not at my jokes. haha. but he is super nice. I can laugh with his wife forever though, she has a great sense of humor.
