Life has been realy buisy lately......mostly things that aren't worth talking about.
I'm getting everything set up for this vacation.....so far 4 nights in the black hills, and then 4 nights in Yellowstone. There will have to be a stay-over in between, probably in Cody, but I'm not sure yet.
It is amazing how hard it is to get reservations anywhere.....everything is full. I got an awsome deal on a cabin in Hill city due to a cancelation, but everything else is just hit or miss.
I went ahead and booked a cabin right outside of Yellowstone.....at a lodge that has horseback rideing, and perhaps canoeing as well. There are things we want to do in Cody, but I think it will be better to drive back there for a day, then to stay there and have to drive to the park everyday. I have some surprises planned......
Things that are a little different......dinner at some great places, visiting a winery, a cave exploration....
I wanted to do a baloon ride, but it would be $100/hour for each of us, and I don't think that would be practicle to do. There is the Ogalala Nation Powwow in Pine Ridge that we will try to see on our way out. I want to stop at the Red Cloud Heritage center, and perhaps Wounded Knee as well.
When I was a kid I wanted to be an indian.
As for other things.....
I bought these shirts. They're so cool I HAVE to show you.
I am still waiting to get them in the mail, and the suspense is killing me.
I'm selling some other cloths on ebay....auctions ending today.......it is fun to see how other people are almost like scavengers, waiting to outbid each other. Hopefully the prices just keep going up
