sorry to hear things are going bad. if it makes you feel better i had some bad luck this weekend. i got lasik surgery on friday. so this weekend was supposed to be a nice relaxing one. i wake up on friday with a 190.00 dollar parking ticket on my truck. the neighbors dont like it. its an old faded red truck. its an eyesore. so im guessing someone reported it abandoned because thats what the ticket said. yeah, i abandoned my truck in front of my house. then the family van breaks down. thats going to cost about 600.00 dollars. so my weekend to relax and rest my eyes was spent stressing about where to come up with this money. anyway, i wish you better luck.

if there was no specific direction to leave the package "at the door" or some such nonsense, then the carrier is usually liable (and insured) to replace the stolen item. this is why they make several attempts at delivery, or make you come pick the thing up.

Sorry to hear about the dental problems. (My kitty, Mina, needs her upper right canine extracted, too.) I had a similar thing happen that mydogfarted had when I got my wisdom teeth out, except mine was still impacted. I was under general, but I fuckin' woke up when they smashed the tooth. Personally, I hate novocaine, so I try to get my dentist to drill cavities without. A few moments of agony is better than having a numb face and drooling all over myself for the rest of the day.
