well now...long time no see!

so we had to give up the cat. it's sad, but neither of us could deal with the peeing, despite constant vigilance on both our parts. it's nice to leave my bedroom door open again. and it's nice to not sleep in a pee pee bed.

i am finished with training, and am now officially a waitress at the diner by me. i'm excited, i made some decent money this weekend. and i'm only working like 3 shifts a week. however, two of those shifts are saturday and sunday...so long, social life! so long sleep! we shall see how long it takes me to burn out. i predict very soon, as i cannot go too long without a day off. but i need to do this. local people should come visit me and i'll pour you a caw-fee and sling ya some hash! i'm lookin at you, treblah, khoos, mdf, etc etc.

[gonzo77 got hired there too, apparently. he just got called in to start training today. everybody think happy thoughts for him!]

and yes, i know. today is an sgny event. i just got home and i'm pooped. no way i'm going into the city. sorry kids.

let's see, what else is new and exciting... we got a couch... gonzo77 moves out in a few months, which i am sad about. but i am excited for my new roommate, derceto to move in! methinks we will have to throw a "housewarming" party for his arrival. like we need an excuse to throw another party lol.

this weekend aside from work was pretty good. friday night bri_bri and i went to qxt's for a little dancing and drinking. last night i sat home and sipped pbr while reading a massive stack of comic books- excuse me, graphic novels- that jackskellington3 sent me. went to bed before midnight. tonight i think i'm gonna go sit by my friends pool up the road and eat some bbq for a few hours. nice, easy night.
