randomotica begins......now.
had a meeting with the owner of the company today to discuss the trajectory of me and the other baby draper's jobs. basically we said, hey, can we balance out the workload? and can you challenge us a little bit more? and the owner was totally on board with it. so that's cool. there's some new shit around the corner, hearing about it calmed my anxiety about getting laid off soon.
gonzo and i are cooking up a goddamned storm. i can barely keep up with all the delicious food in our fridge. i'm glad my appetite is normal again, as i am up for the challenge.
venus is no longer in retrograde, awesomesauce.
a certain photographer guy's bday is tomorrow, i associate the two for some reason. i feel like in my head, once this weekend is over with, some new chapter officially begins. or maybe sunday will come and i will be standing on the corner, looking in both directions, wondering which direction the busload of something will come from to hit me. and maybe that bus got diverted. who knows.
i'm headed out the door in a few to hang out with some of my favorite people on the planet.
discovering all sorts of kickass new music on my ipod and via other folks. it was long overdue.
money is still really tight, and i've been partying at home a lot, but for the most part it's all sorted out. now i just have to get my damn storage unit emptied in the next 30 days.
and the johnny demon and keith minoo show is the greatest thing to hit terrestrial radio since...um...since some other cool show that's previously been on the radio.
i know this all sounds very boring and settled and all, but a) i'm thrilled to have some normalcy in my life for five minutes, and b) the exciting stuff that's going on...well, that's private.
besides, i wouldn't even know how to word some of it. some of it is not mine to word. but yes, there be several reasons for me to be feeling chipper. dur hur hur.
anyway, i have some jager to drink with my besties. hope all is well!
