so there's someone that's been really great to me the past few weeks/months. REALLY great. he's sort of been waiting in the wings for me and i feel like i haven't acknowledged him publicly as much as i should. so i guess this is my way of saying thank you.

he's been patient, kind, gentle, funny...always knows the exact thing to say to make me feel better. knows when to take me out drinking, and when to bring me home and put me to bed.
he tells me how beautiful i am when i feel as ugly as can be... gets me to eat when i feel like i can't possibly choke down a single bite. he calms me down, and makes me smile, and gets me to laugh when all i want to do is cry.
all i have to do is send him a text with a and he's all over it. and i feel like a million bucks when he's done with me.
he's been patient with me, even though i am at my absolute worst. he understands why i lash out and flip a shit for seemingly no reason. and he forgives me for it, even when i don't deserve it.
he's taught me how to live again. he's taught me what it should really be like. and he hasn't asked for a damn thing in return except honesty.
