last night i went out and played photographer/ videographer for minimalism at this art gallery party thinggy. felt all sorts of professional, and yet a little weirded out by all the 20 year old hipsters.
homeboy is a great dj! if i wasn't busy shooting i'd have been dancing my keister off. here's a few of the results...yes i tweaked em a bit in photoshop. i am no shop ninja but i do try hard.

and between all that, the 365 day challenge (which i have been wretched about uploading to so i won't link it) and my group i am all about learning how to actually shoot pictures. not just futz with the settings on my camera and eventually have a few happy accidents. like i should know how to do this already, my stepfather's been shooting since he was 13. d'oh.
things are going pretty good. i'm feeling a lot better today.
off to get a badly needed haircut this afternoon. feeling a bit like wooly willy!
i'm thinking about shooting a set soon...i'm thinking maybe if i go into it with the "i don't give a shit if it gets accepted or not" attitude it may actually work this time lol
made some new friends on here recently and i look forward to spending more time with them
