gonzo77's bday party was amazing. we had about 30 people over, some of whom had to cross state and international borders to be there! i feel flattered that people would travel so far to come hang out with us. but yeah, awesome time and the cleanup wasn't too bad. i've been extraordinarily lazy about posting the 10 pics i managed to take at the beginning of the evening before i was too busy being a good hostess to take more.
my boy is 30 now. and he's still as cute as evar!
let's see, what else. i finally gave in and signed up for facebook. i've been resisting for so long- i've got profiles on friendster, livejournal, myspace, and here, why the fuck would i need facebook? but it turns out that almost all my cousins on my dad's side of the family are on there, and i haven't seen or talked to any of them in years so it's kinda neat to see them all grown up and shit. (they're all pretty straightlaced from the looks of it. *sigh* oh well. that's family for ya!) if you kids know me in real life, feel free to add me on there. i could use some more friends.
i dunno. i'm SURE i'm forgetting some awsome story from the past week, some alcohol induced adventure, but i think i will leave it at that for now. of course if i don't mention the sake incident justblaze will get cranky. and the fact that i got to see derceto, firebrand, tadzi, and treblah last night, which i don't get to do often enough.
i am officially addicted to the wii, and am prepared to claw my way past a horde of people to get my hands on the wii fit that's coming out soon.
yesterday i did all my xmas shopping, bought car insurance for the first time ever (boo!), and made latkes with dinner.
right now i'm thinking about a fat, meaty sammich. stupid sushi dinner. i'm starving!
