morning aftered!!!
so the party last night was pretty kick ass. i was getting a little terrified, as people were calling to cancel ALL day long (2 bachelor parties, 3 strep throats, 1 stomachache, and 1 friend of mine just got into the blue man group nyc backup band and had to go to rehearsal). and i said 830 pm thinking most people would arrive between 9-930, so when 10 pm rolls around and theres just a few people, i'm starting to get cranky. but by 11-12 things really picked up the pace and stayed crazy until about 3 am. after i got lost in bayonne driving people back to the path train in hoboken and watched the sun rise over the grossest part of new jersey, i made it home and crawled back into bed with my gonzoman.
so yeah. good times. pictures, of course. unfortunately, i'm still not used to having a powerful camera in my pocket, so i forget to take pictures.
my family sent over an edible arrangement! the white blobs are chocolate covered bananas. that shit got decimated. fucking tasty.
cupcake cafe cakes from strumpet and bee! any new yorker worth their salt will know how fucking awesome this cake is. i had a slice for breakfast, along with a few errant strawberries from the bouquet.

bee and jadedstar. isn't she fucking gorgeous? we've been good friends since middle school and i've always said that she's a hottie.
and finally, the state of my kitchen, post-mortem:
minimalism and stiles and yennabear brought salsa and swords. how cool is that?
drucifer7 and treblah and tadzi and dawn brought themselves. not for very long at all (and you are SO going to get spanked at camping for it) but they did show up. so i was excited.
i'm obviously going to forget somebody bringing something so i'm not going to even try and shout out everyone. everyone brought beer and booze and surprises and it was so sweet. i had such a great time, and i am so grateful that i have such great people in my life. i feel all blessed and shit that so many are willing do deal with me on a regular basis and dont have to be bribed into hanging out with me.
