You know, aside from the puking incident the other night, this has been a really good week.
Too bad gonzo just discovered that my christmas present- the big, expensive one he's been dropping hints about for days and days- was stolen from our mail sometime today. Yeah.
He says he tracked it online and it was delivered this morning while we were at work. I told him to call the post office tomorrow and post a sign in the hall, but I have a feeling that he's right and its gone.
So now he's real bummed, I'm bummed, and since he got it online there wouldn't be enough time to replace it. Not that I expect him to, as he's out god knows how much money, but even if we were made of money it still couldn't happen.
I don't know...I'm torn between being really annoyed, and feeling guilty for being annoyed. I feel SO bad for gonzo- strumpet and bee helped him pick it out and say its really good, and he spent a lot of money on me. And its not like I won't be getting anything for christmas! But this seems like it would've been the most special, and now some douche bag scum fuck is running around enjoying something that isn't rightfully theirs.
Fuck christmas. Fuck christmas with a big rubber dildo.

if there was no specific direction to leave the package "at the door" or some such nonsense, then the carrier is usually liable (and insured) to replace the stolen item. this is why they make several attempts at delivery, or make you come pick the thing up.
