so, let's see...last night i was helping strumpet set up for her annual christmas party. when we were finished and waiting for guests to arrive, i typed up a journal entry about the weekend and it got EATEN by the computer. boo! and i forgot until just now...so here goes nothin!
friday night i went with strumpet and gonzo77 and our friend bee to see george carlin live at caesars palace in atlantic city, which is several hours south of where we live. it was a pretty average night for the most part, but since it's my life and i seem to attract crazy like shit attracts flies, i'd put some extra emphasis on "the most part".
so we're seated in the theatre, waiting for the show to start, and we're seated in a booth. the whole theatre is tables and booths. there's four of us, and the maitre'd tells us that since it's a sold out show, we might have 2 more people seated next to us. no problem. the show starts, it's fuckin george carlin, holy shit! and about 15 minutes into it, this lesbian couple gets seated at our booth.
now i know what yr thinking, ooh, lesbians! and that's what i thought at first too. but they were hideously unattractive- like middle aged, white trash, fried hair jersey girls gone too seed. totally gross...and totally shitfaced, like falling down drunk! they almost knock over all our drinks just by flopping down into the booth like a couple of fat flopping fish, and then they proceed to make out. and the one chick is moaning, like porn star moaning, while the other one is giving her a titty massage. we're all in shock. nobody is paying attention to george fuckin carlin because these two beached whales are having a fuckfest practically on top of us- we kept looking at them, and then looking at each other with our jaws on the floor, totally not believing that they were being so rude. this goes on for like 10-15 minutes.
eventually i get really pissy and say to them, "alright! i didn't just pay fifty bucks to sit here and listen to you two!" and they were so ridiculously drunk they didn't even hear me. we were pretty fed up by then, and start looking for a manager or someone to move to a different table. and then the drunker of the two, the one on the receiving end of the massage, starts swaying and her head hits the table. BANG! faceplant. she's still moaning, but her moans are no longer moans of pleasure. we start arguing with her friend to take her out of the theatre, as she's obviously really sick, but her friend just waves us off and slurs something about oh, she's fine, whatever. sensing what is about to happen, i scramble over strumpet and bee out of the booth, and run several rows back so that i can't see what's happening at our table. two seconds later bee comes running towards me, mutters, "stay there!" and heads for the exits.
he comes back with a manager, who leads us to a new table. (incidentally, it's about 10 feet from the stage and dead center. we got to watch the rest of the show close enough to see his nose hair. it was totally awesome, even at 69 he's still got it.) turns out as soon as i got up, the passed out chick puked all over the table without picking her head up. yeah, faceful of puke. see kids? this is why you shouldn't drink! i don't get it. why do people always like to puke around the emetophobe? i'm thinking of writing a letter to the casino and getting a refund. we missed a good chunk of the show, since it was only about an hour long.
in other news, i got a lot of christmas shit done. i guess when it's a week away you can't put it off much longer. oh, and strumpets party was awesome! i spent most of it zooted on vicodin, but at least no one saw me naked.
i'm feeling much better with my teeth, and i just spoke to tmronin about making a soft prop for a sg shoot this week. (for you non-theatre people, a soft prop is any sort of costume-y type prop, like blankets and pillows, or anything that requires sewing.) if i keep this up, maybe i'll become an official sg wardrobe person, ha!
