hello all.
so i'm new here. i first heard about sg oh, ages ago, probably when it first got started. it took my years to work up the balls to submit an application, but i finally did. and i've been on pins and needles for several weeks waiting to find out if i'd made it.
i checked my email this morning, and my photoset was NO GOOD!
so i've spent the whole day feeling quite mopey and self conscious. but i am determined to not let it get the better of me.
it's hard, i've always wanted to do this- and i have these mood swings where i go from being totally overconfident about my appearance/figure, to completely self-loathing, thinking i am the ugliest thing on two legs. taking these pics really boosted my self esteem a great deal...and then to get rejected, well it's mortifying. (and truth be told, i didn't think they were *that* bad...could've photoshopped out a lot of stuff in the background...but my user pic was one of em, you tell me...)
but! i have some great ideas for my next sets, and i think i can get it right this time. my best friend is also in the midst of the application process, and we're planning on doing some multiple girl sets when we both get the hell in here.
in the meantime, i have been given a free account by the very gracious sg admin's, so i can take a look around and see what the hell i did wrong!
right then. i'm taking a week off from work to go to seattle.
