So, Rome is over.
Rome being the show on HBO dealing with the famous events surrounding the Ceasars and Mark Antiny and others. Fantastic show, really. I felt like it captured what was, likely, the true spirit of the Roman aristocracy. It also captured the spirit of friendship.
The show is elegant, baroque and never pulls any punches with the way it hits you in the gut. The finale is particularly sad, but the entire show is about the inevitable. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I loved it
