...What's better than a day off from work and sleeping in until at least noon, waking up to a fresh pot of coffee already brewed and turning on the TV to find one of your favorite shows is on? Sounds great .. but it couldn't happen.
... I could not sleep last night, I spent the majority of the night tossing and turning in bed while my wife slept like a rock. I finally went to bed around 5:30, then her alarm clock woke me up at 6. I figured fuck it, I would stay up and have some coffee. Guess what kiddies, no Coffee filters and only a dash of some nasty decaf. Ok, well I figured I would watch the TV, but nothing was on. Jack Crap! Natta! So what do you do ..... beats me. I ended up cleaning my whole house and setting up the crockpot for dinner tonight..................... Isn't life grand.

The Eggs/Balls of Satan
Half a cup of powdered sugar
One quarter teaspoo salt
One knifetip Turkish hash
Half a pound butter
One teaspoon vanilla-sugar
Half a pound flour
150 g ground nuts
A little extra powdered sugar
... and no eggs
Place in a bowl
Add butter
Add the ground nuts and
Knead the dough
Form eyeball-size pieces from the dough
Roll in the powdered sugar
and say the Magic Words:
"Sim sala bim bamba sala do saladim"
Place on a greased baking pan and
Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes
...AND NO EGGS
Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes
...and no eggs.

i've seen and own amelie... it's a good fucking movie... haven't watched it in a while cuz the tv my dvd player is hooked up to right now makes the subtitles blurry and hard to read though.
i've always wondered... what do oompa loompas taste like?
